In 1983 Droitwich Spa signed a twining charter with the people of Bad Ems in
Germany and this year marks forty years of friendship between the two towns.
To mark the anniversary the Mayor of Droitwich Spa, Councillor Kate Fellows and
Chairwoman of the Droitwich Spa German Twinning Association, Aimée Donnison
will raise the flag of the Bad Ems and Nassau municipality at 11am on Saturday 16
September at St Richard’s House in the town.
