Copcut Park

This is a hidden gem right in the centre of a residential area. The park straddles Celvestune Way and has a pond on the west side and the allotment site on the east. There is a host of wildlife to watch whilst you tuck into a picnic on the benches provided. The park incorporates a wheelchair and baby-buggy circular walk around the pond.

Droitwich Spa Town Council initiated collaboration with Natural Networks in the autumn of 2023 and were successfully awarded a maximum grant of £15,000. With additional capital investment, pathways were redefined and resurfaced in natural compacted stone.  A variety of spring bulbs were planted in the woodland and amenity grassland areas including wild garlic and English bluebells. Other features for this location included bird and bat boxes, an insect/bug hotel structure and some replacement tree planting.

Spring Meadow

This is also a very well-used open space sited on Primsland, again a residential area.  It was created using Doorstep Green grant money and has been open since 2006.

Additional and replacement native blossom and fruit trees were planted in 2024, together with a wild flower meadow area. This support pollinators, creates further natural habitat and boost floral diversity.
